Subject: Hendrick Motorsports Christmas for Kids Carshow Sat Nov 17, 2012 8:41 pm
Took a little trip up to Charlotte today for the Hendrick Motorsports Christmas for Kids Carshow. Met up with the CarISSMA club. What a cool show!
I have to apologize for my pics...umm...I was trying to get the hang on that panoramic feature on my iThing. I am not too good at it. Also, I was very distracted by all the amazing rides..so..before I knew it the show was over.
Here is what I have though. Hopefully Bob will post up and save the day with his pics
Meeting up with the CarISSMA club bright and early (Had to leave home at 5:15am to get there, no chance in heck Cara was going to come with me. Lol)

Other rides I managed to snap pics of. This Nova had an LT1 in it...crazy air intake!
Can you tell what's under the hood of this old Plymouth??
There were almost 500 cars at this show. It was crazy!
They auctioned off some cool NASCAR stuff (I actually won some bag of 90's trading cards from some dusty backroom of the Hendrick shop) and then gave out awards. None of the Impala guys got anything, but seriously...there were some AMAZING rides at this show. Big money. If you can come next year, DO IT! I'm already planning on it! Next year I want to win a chunk of a stock car

Looks like there were a lot of nice cars! I personally could not step foot on the premises though due to an intense uncontrollable hatred of Jeff Gordon......

LOL.... Not a Clint fan either, just have always hated Jeff Gordon since I started watching racing as a kid in the 90's.....

I try to save that "intense uncontrollable hatred" for those that deserve it.Jeff is generous to a fault and until 2 weeks ago above all of the bickering but I guess he had enough.Was glad that "Bad Brad " won the champioship and not JJ!
