Too many cars, and while this is the most comfortable car I have owned, I just can't devote the time to it that it deserves.
113,614 miles, Estate wagon, nice leather, climate control, third seat, class III hitch with brake controller and 7 pin plug, new front tires, rebuilt AC compressor (not hooked up) air was great last year until compressor locked up.
It has rust in the rear quarters, and I think the Opti is on its way out again, after just replacing it last year. Developed an oil leak near the front of the motor on a trip to Austin, TX last Thanksgiving; it think this is what caused this Opti to act up. Oil leak may be trans cooler lines, but I'm just not interested in messing with it anymore. Would rather see someone else who loves these get it and do something with it, as my wife doesn't love it as much as she did when before the first Opti went out.
We have taken this wagon on multiple long road trips, and it has always been an incredibly comfortable car for long stints and I will hate to see it go. (Our Austin trip up and back was non stop and over 1,000 miles each way, and we also took a week long trip around Lake Michigan in it, pulling a Jeep on a trailer and with two teenagers and a 10 year old inside)
Now for some Gratuitous Road Trip Photos from the past year-
Summer trip around the lake-
Thanksgiving trip to Austin-
(Denny's and The Westin- we sure know how to live!)
Trip to Cedar Springs, Mi to pick up Theater Seats-
Asking $1500. I'm in Oak Lawn, IL, just SW of Chicago. You can drive it home, but you will need to carry some oil to top it off, and it may die once or twice on you.
