| Someone locally is selling a Valley hitch from a Roadmaster sedan. I still need a hitch for my Custom Cruiser. Anyone know if they interchange?

| Nope the Wagon is wider.
Mike I am installing the horns today. Thanks. I have them cleaned up and bolted in. Very easy. I am going to clean up and paint the battery tray before I go any further. While it dryes I will run the wire. I found a 1/4" socket, an exacto knife and lots of dirt and leaves under the battery. Ugly.

Dick Hahaha, buried treasure! It's funny, the tray on my always-been-in-Texas '96 Roady wagon was rustier than the one from my North Carolina '92 OCC. Both showed signs of leaking batteries in the past and I cleaned and painted the trays and the lower-inner-fenders below the trays with Rust-Oleum before putting the batteries back in too. I did not however find any knives or sockets under mine...ha! Hope you are taking some pics of the install and add comments about how it comes out to the Tugboat Horn thread on this forum. Great mod! Bummer about the hitch though. It was only $60! Dang. | |

| Mike. All done with the Tug boat horn install. They sound great. It was a good opportunity to clean and paint battery tray. I will post photos later. Right now I want to take a drive to town and look for someone to honk at. Dick | |

| Mike, what happened with getting the hitch from your Roady? I thought Rich didn't want it? |

| That thing is cool. Shoot, I would have taken the hitch off before I sold him the car if he didn't want it then.
You CAN modify a Sedan hitch to fit. There's a guy locally who has one - but I don't know the specifics on that. |

| Now that you mention it, that ball mount looks like a class II. | |
