Next Stop, Wally World Texas!

My brother and sister-in-law surprised my sons Eddie and Tuck with a Spring Break trip to Disney World in Florida. WOW. Nice gift! Tuck, the 4yr old got to fly on a plane, and I think he enjoyed that as much as going to Disney. Ha! The boys got home today and have been passing on some great stories.

Meanwhile, my "new" kids we took in last October got to help me change a fuel pump on Misty's Denali last weekend and then sat around the house all week while Misty and I worked. Not that they didn't enjoy sleeping in, playing on their computers and being bums all week, but Misty and I decided to give them a good surprise yesterday.

So at 9am I got them up, tossed them in the Custom Cruiser and we drove to San Antonio for a day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. We had a BALL. Lily and Johnathan had NEVER been on a roller coaster before...amazing...and we stayed until the placed closed. GREAT day. The lines were long but we had a total ball, and I got to live out another Vacation movie moment, pulling into the giant parking lot in my wagon with my kids. I did not get to punch Marty Moose however. Ha!





Fiesta Texas is a neat park. It was built on the floor of an old rock quarry that operated from 1934-1988. Neat way to re-purpose the land, and it's cool to see the towering cliff surrounding the park. We had SO much fun..despite the fact that I could never get all three kids to smile at once!

Thieir favorite ride was a water ride in the rear corner of the park. Lily is CRAZY... You can stand on a bridge over the ride and get SOAKED, and she must have stood there for 10 drenchings. She was soaked to the bone!

Glad she didn't push me off the ride once we finally got on it. Scary kid. Hahaha.

As for Johnathan, I told him to smile! Goofy kiddos.

Still had a great day. Wish we were there right now.
