| Is it too soon to look into a parts swap thread? Or if this doesn't follow the format, mods are welcome to delete and/or start an offcial one. Memorial day weekend is the sale weekend at the junkyards I hit, which is when I tend to stock up on items. So if there is something you are looking for, I'll do what I can to find it. (edited by Dave... It just became the official parts swap thread) | |

| -I have some pieces I won’t be using. Here’s what I have to part with so far: 1. I have (6) 15” x 8" WS6 Trans Am snowflakes for sale. (4) of them are bare aluminum (plain finish) One is gold-centered and usable as is, the last is gray-centered and has some curb rash, but very much repairable. They are 5 on 4.75" bolt pattern (Boxie sedan - except 9C1) and IIRC they are zero offset - which works out to be something like 4.5" backspacing. Complete with like-new lugnuts (they are specific to this wheel) and a set of a set of nearly NOS (meaning I don't have the boxes they came in after they were installed to see what they looked like and then placed in storage back in 1989) red-winged caps are included. Plain finish: Gold centered: Gray centered (hard to get pics of the curbrash): And caps: Use on another project or a Pontiac clone (as if anyone would do such a thing). I would think $300.00 delivered to WFNY is exceptionally fair for everything. 2. (3) 1991 or 1992 Corvette 17 x 9.5 sawblade style wheels. Actual pic attached:: Two lefts & one right - as seen in the photo. Add a fourth & some cheap adapters and you’ll have a nice set OCC wheels for short money. $100.00 delivered to WFNY. 3. 2 pairs of Diamante headlights in excellent condition - another mod I am not going to get to - $50.00/pair. 4. 3 complete 9C1 steering columns - one in beige, two in blue - don’t need them anymore - $20.00 each. 5. Brand new G-body 4L80E tubular crossmember from Clear Image/Bowtie Overdrives - $100.00. 6. Camaro cluster - should be from a low tire option V8 car - so 110 speedo - $40.00 7. A really nice set of LT1 vavle covers - $15.00 pair Open to interesting trades. More as I think of it. - J -

| Full set of 4 black 15x8 suburban/truck metal rims with 9c1 center caps and screws. Two are straight and two have very slight wobbles (I stuck them on the rear and drove 40k on them with no vibration). $150. | |

can you machine them with 5 on 5 lug pattern?
Anything is possible, but in this case the factory lug holes are oversized compared to today's wheels so we would be locked into using the oversized steel inserts (if they are in fact large enough to do the job) at like $2.00 & some change per hole, plus the time to put them in. So the cost would add up quick. And drilling a second set in the 5 on 5" pattern between the existing holes (as we did on Doug's BBS wheels) is not really an option as the wheel is relieved on the back side in those areas. Which is to say that there is insufficient material to ensure a safe modification. In this case about the only other way to make them a fit short of welding & redrilling would be to alter the car to 5 on 4.75" pattern, not something inexpensive to do either. So I'm thinking that for all intents and purposes the answer is no. Thanks for the interest though. - 1993 Roady-man wrote:

Jarrod, I assuming Pat will not want them if he can't use them, so if that is the case, they are yours. - J -

| Ok if it was me,... and think Pat might be thinking this way, I would drill the other spots and leave the original holes alone. You could probably make some kind of plug for the original holes and paint them to match. They would look great on Pats Wagon. | |

Sorry perhaps I wasn't clear, maybe this will help. Though not the same wheel, they look like this one does on the backside, so there isn't enough metal to ensure the lug area is properly supported if a new hole is drilled. IMHO it's just not worth taking a chance and have a wheel fail. I agree, they would look great, and someone else may be willing to do it that way, but it won't be me. - J -

| It seem that it would be easier to have your frt. rotors, rear axles/drums re-drilled with the 5on4.75 pattern for the wheels. Late s80s to early 90's Camaro 1LE front rotors could be used instead of re-drilling the rotors, but the 1LE rotors don't have the ABS reluctor, so no ABS.

| Since we're having to constantly weed through pages of unrelated car topics across multiple forums, perhaps it would be appropriate to add some non-GM / non-wagon parts just in case someone out there could use them (Sorry, no unopened cases of satin black spray bombs on hand just now). (4) Speedline Corse 18" x 10" real magnesium wheels, brand new with lightly used Pirelli 285/30ZR-18 P-Zero Rossa's. 5 on 120 mm - read: BMW - bolt pattern. Price: Figure about 4X what somebody paid for their latest fail (translation: expensive). Enjoy... - J | |

| Just throwing this out there if any '94 guy is interested in a known good spare trans:
'94 4L60E out of my RMW with 154k on it. Runs good, shifts good. I only pulled it because Reverse got soft, and I will correct this by installing brand new lo-reverse clutches, a '96 manual valve with modified Reverse exhaust (corrects the '93-95 design flaw) so you'll never have the problem. It also has a TransGo SK shift kit, and I'll install a brand new Sonnax boost valve, all for $300. Can add upgraded sunshell and refreshed pump with all new seals for additional $.
Need to know by EDIT - July 22nd if you're interested so I can have it ready for you.

| Yes, July 22nd.
I have several spare '95 and '96 Cruise Control actuators, all tested and working. Cheaper than disassembling and trying to fix the internal gear when it strips (been there tried that). $20 apiece.
Also have a couple of spare HVAC blower motor modules, with clean contacts and tested working. $20 apiece.

However, It's a discontinued part so it's not a bad idea to have one banging around. As far as the vent window goes I am really looking for one with the hinges still attached. Thanks!
