| Really need to improve the looks of my '81 Safari, 5x5 bolt pattern. I'd like to get some more choices than what I've found..... Requirements: 1. 'Stock' appearance. Has to be either an actual Pontiac wheel, a replica Pontiac wheel in a different size, or a wheel that 'looks Pontiac' That last one is kind of a judgment call, but for me, it would eliminate for instance, the Chrome Buick wheel you would see on older Estate wagons, etc. 2. 15" - 17" size, MAX. If there were plenty of choices out there, I would probably pick 16" as my ideal size. Lots more wheel choices in the 17" size it seems though.... Here's what I've come up with so far....... 1. Stock Pontiac Rally II's or Snowflakes, possibly painted white on the colored areas....(15") 2. Chevy Astro / GMC Safari alloy (15") I would rather not use adapters, so I'm stuck with the 5x5 (5x127mm) bolt pattern. Any suggestions?

| You're going to have a hell of a time with this one. The 5x127mm snowflakes are my pick, but they're hard to find and expensive if you do.
Good luck with your search. |

| That single gold rally II wheel with the firehawl tire would be the perfect choice for your wagon IMHO!End of discussion! |

| I vote for the astro/safari alloys (also found on gmc sierras and silverados from the early 90s). Those are some of my favorite factory rims | |

Well, about 66 miles is not really "right down the road"..... Yeah, I saw those in my CL search. Condition appears great, and price seems pretty reasonable. How much would shipping 4 wheels half way across the country be? I'm also kinda jumping he gun here. No $$ yet......

| Are you guys sure that a 72 Bonny has the 5x5 pattern and not the 5x4.75? |

From what I understand, all the Pontiac big cars from the 'clamshell era' '71-'76 had 5x5" across the board.....

| I also Vote for Rally II's just because finding a set of 5X5 Snowflakes will be very difficult, I know they made them as I have seen 1 set in all my years of scrounging Pontiac parts!
Just FYI, avoid the 6" wide rally wheels, they were easy to bend on Sedans and coupes!!!!!
Keep looking until you find a set of earlier 67-76 7" wide Ralley II's
