i have been looking for a good rad support. i have seen aftermarket ones and rock auto sells one. has anyone used a after market and how do they fit? thanks

I had no idea their were after market ones for our cars, good to know.
Just checked and RA only has 3 left and that PN comes up on GM parts sites when googled, may be an original part.

Amazon has it also for $145 shipped but says "OEM Replacement"

Dang that's a good price if it's half decent. I paid $90 + shipping for a used one a few years ago.

i dont think it is gm list it as various as supplier. i went to u pull it today and found a real nice 92 roady sedan. they said it is same as a wagon does anyone know if that is true. it was raining so i will go back tomorrow for it.

Yes. I have one out of a '92 RMS in my '95 Caprice. You have to drill a few holes here and there but it's very easy.

And vice versa, the core support that the body shop put in my car is from an LT1 Caprice. The 4.3L decal is still on it. Hehehe. Need to scrape that off. :p

I found them all over Ebay as well, must be aftermarket. Gotta wonder why we can get these things, but not front wheel wells.

jarrod that add is from the guy i got tim his hood from. the funny thing is i had called him he did not have 1 at the time. so i went to yard today and got it. it is in great shape. yesterday when i was there they said it would be $35.00 and today i got it and he said $25.00 so that was great. then on the way out a guy stops me and says didn't i sell you a hood the other week. it was the guy i got tims hood from and he says do u still need a rad support? i said not as of 5 min. ago i dont. he also said he has 2 wagon rears for sale posi 3;23 rears. he is a nice guy and also asked about the site so you might see them on here next
