No motivation for myself.

As a bodyman I love fixing vehicles for other people, and making them happy.

BUT,...... I have no motivation to do all the rot repair work for myself. I looked over my wagon yesterday and checked out all the rot that needs to be fixed and I decided I just want to find another southern rot free wagon, still leaning towards the TBI and not the Lt-1 unless the right one comes along.

So that being said before winter I would like to find a good solid, running wagon to work my magic on. Heading to class out in Vegas in October so I might look out that way while there.

I know how you feel. As a computerman, I hate fixing my own computers. And I'm sure that even with the rot your wagon may have, you can still sell it for a good amount. I love the power of the LT1 wagon, and that's why I bought another, but the simplicity and affordability of parts for the TBIs is a nice thing.

I hear ya on that. I use to love doing anything with computers, until I made it my career. Now I hate the thought of working on them and have gotten rid of a lot of it. The same went for small engines as anyone who watches my videos on youtube can see. I use to have new vids all the time, but then I tried to make it a business and just stopped doing it all together. My "good" lawn tractor had a small problem and sat abandoned for 2 years because of it. I swore to never work on cars for anyone because I still enjoy it.

Well atleast i'm not in the only one in the boat.

I found a 96 wagon in the Philly area that has quarter panel damage and I would fix and drive that in a heartbeat.

I think i'm just tired of my wagon. Constantly doing things for others and want change for myself.

It isn't just you. But it may also be a phase. My wagon's been sitting for months while I slowly put a new transmission, radiator, and a few other things into it. I will have a wagon at Wagonfest!

Well as of today - 10 days later,.... I feel so much better about my wagon. I must have ate some bad mushrooms a week ago.

Ordered new parts for my baby and looked over the rusted areas again and decided to give her 1 more facelift before she is done. So looks like another 50-100K before she is done. LOL!

Probably not, but in time I will. Mostly mechanical things first.

You might have to find some other wagon to drive to the fest,.

Dam that is nice, but right now John-Mtrheaad79 is looking at a wagon for me today. It is cheaper and in my price range. It needs a motor and tranny and have those laying right here. I have to many trips planned this year to swing a purchase that big and make it work for me trip wise.

As it is now I will only be coming to Wagonfest on Saturday since the airbrush class I was planning on attending has changed venues now (was canceled but now it isn't) so now I can go, but it gets done on Friday night, so I will driving Friday night to Waterloo.
