| **********This was a great event! Pictures and video can be found here... https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t9349-ohio-valley-wagonfest-picture-thread Thanks again for your support and keeping these wagons alive! Chris*********** Location: Warwick Park, Louisville, KY (Warwick Avenue, St. Matthews, Kentucky 40222) Nice shelter with power and grills (plus restrooms) Great playground for the kids, we can park our cars right next to us AND great location. Can't have alcohol at the park though. But we can pretty much do whatever else we want as long as we clean it up when we are done. Date: Sat 10/5Time: 10am-4pm? Then a cruise to a dinner spot (Likely Huber's Family Restaurant OR Claudia Sanders..TBD based on how many folks we get!) There will be no fee associated with the day event. Lunch will be provided. If you want to bring a side or some snacks...feel free. The plan is to grill dogs and burgers. If rain is expected, we will have BBQ. Dinner is on you (but we will pick a place that is budget friendly, holds us all and offers a nice cruise) We can also try to do something on Fri depending on the turnout. (Pull A Part run? Dinner and cruise?) And for the ladies (or for Fri and Sun if you are staying over) the St James Art Show will be going on Downtown that weekend (in Old Louisville) It's an amazing Festival. http://www.stjamescourtartshow.com/The park is also very close to the two huge malls in Louisville. So shop till you drop. http://www.mallstmatthews.com/http://www.oxmoorcenter.com/Those signed up so far1. Brokecello (Greenville, SC) 2. BigOldV8 (Louisville, KY) 3. Scoffman (Lawrenceburg, KY) 4. | I'll look into planning some vacation time.
Chris, you are correct in thinking that a few years ago, the forum received permission from Ruphrax when he left New York State, to use the phrase Wagonfest with his blessings. With that in mind, it has opened up the use of the term Wagonfest to include regional events hosted by members of this forum. So you have all of our blessings, and my personal thanks and respect for the effort that I know you'll be putting into it. Let me know if I can be of help in any way.
Thanks for stepping up to the plate.

| Could be a plan - combined with a possible trip over the "Bourbon Trail" that's been discussed for the Fall. A few pieces still have to fit together. | |

| Location is reserved for October 5. It will be at Warwick Park rather than EP Tom Sawyer. It's a bit closer to the highway and more reasonable $-wise. There's a pavilion with picnic tables, running water and electricity. Parking lot is right next to the pavilion as well. Restrooms are in the form of semi-permanent porta-potties but they are the oversize ones, and frankly the "real" restrooms at the parks are never that clean anyway. We'll bring some "good" TP and plenty of hand cleaner. If necessary there are several places with public restrooms nearby as well (driving, not walking distance, but < 1 mi). Gas stations, fast food, good food, grocery, 2 shopping malls - pretty much anything you could want is within a mile or two of this place, and as Chris mentioned the St James court art fair is that weekend and always interesting (that is about 20 mins away). There's even a new Cinemark movie theatre in one of the malls up the street, so there's plenty of family-friendly entertainment for persons less enthused about wagons. Note: No alcoholic beverages at the park, city rules. For anyone considering or requiring an overnight there are a large number of hotels within a few miles as well. I can help point you to those if need be but I suspect they all show up on google or bing maps. Feel free to PM or email me with any Louisville-specific questions and I'll try to help. I'm planning on bringing a bunch of parts for sale so I think we'll do the swap meet thing too. Bewbs are you driving to that wedding? You should just turn south and keep going. Dad won't mind. LOL! | |

| Hey guys! Date is coming up!
Lunch will be provided, but I'd like to get a nice solid headcount so I can plan on the right amount of grub / meat!
There will also be some door prizes as well (so far I have a Shell Gas card, RockAuto giftcard and an AutoZone gift card)
Any more takers? On the tentative folks.....any confirmations?

| Unfortunately the job that pays for my gas, etc. has boxed me so that we can't attend. Not to mention the issue of the "new" fuel pump continuing to blow fuses (and all that that entails - again). Ideally next year. | |

| Right now my head count is 3 but that number might change. I'm going to talk to my parents tomorrow and see if they want to come too; If the do we lose our babysitter and my total count will be 9. Let me know how much to chip in for lunch? I would like to go on a pull a part run, unfortunately Friday is my middle sons eighth birthday so we will be celebrating that at my parents house that afternoon/evening. I'm super stoked about this gathering. It will be my first Longroof forum activity. We can definitely bring a side item or two. I don't know what that will be yet. If you want to finalize any details on that just PM me and we'll work it out. Funny side story Ms. Roadie got her first ever compliment from not one but two complete strangers last night as I was filling her up. One older gentleman felt the urge to walk part way around her a couple of times before he finally made up his mind to walk up to me and compliment me on my choice of vehicle. A nice little conversation then ensued. He even told me about this 76 Buick estate wagon he had with a 455 in it. It was a great experience. Wagon people is good people. This other guy mentioned something about how nice my wagon was and how they look cool as low-riders. I told him I might drop the front some after the first of the year but for now she's completely stock height. | |

Due to long work hours and laziness new paint won't be til early next year. Using a local guy with a busy schedule as well. Most all body work, rack delete, etc will be done though. Getting things done on a daily driven project car is tough at times. She will still be multi tone, so I will just park in the back of any pictures, lol. Anyone wanting to make a Pull A Part run should know that the B Bodies that are there (No Wagons) have been there a while and are pretty well picked over. Good B Body parts are normally gone within a day or two. The people that prep the cars must have someone on speed dial.

| I've listed what I have for sale in the "For Sale" Section: https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t9283-lots-of-b-body-parts-caprice-impala-sedan-wagon#98550Items can be picked up at the OHWF in October. If you want to reserve something, PM me to confirm availability (I will update the list as things are sold) and then paypal the necessary funds and I'll reserve it for you. Otherwise, cash in person is perfect. Check out my rating on eBay (same user ID) for confidence. If you're not happy when you see the part(s) you'll get your money back, no problem. I've tried to price them fairly. Thanks -Mike | |

I will add you to the list on page 1 As for shirts, you might want to talk to Dave ( https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t8962-last-call-to-order-wagnfest-tee-shirts ). I am working with Bewber on having WagonFest 2013 Decals though, so you will get a set of those! Chris

| Anybody with kids, I'll be bringing my two boys, 2nd grade and preschool, along with their bikes, frisbees and other assorted outdoor toys. PARTS: Anybody need: 1. Class 1 Hidden Hitch for wagons, scabby but solid. Receiver is brand new and mint. $100. 2. Stock valvecovers, zero rust but I don't think the paint is perfect. Fun for painting or other experiments. $20 3. Woodgrain trim in mint or near-mint condition, most of the car. Not cheap, but worth it for these unobtainable pieces. PM me with requests. 4. Stainless trim, various pieces. PM me with requests. 5. TBI blue cargoshade out of a '92 Olds CC. Mint. $80 fest price only. 6. Caddy Fleetwood axle shaft with ABS reluctor. Mint. Very rare. $70 7. Maroon cargoshade. Not mint but not torn either. $50. 8. Rear door sail panels (the flyaway panels). $25 a side fest price only. 9. Electric fan conversion radiator bracket, electric fan assembly, and wiring harness: $55. 10. Eibach lowering springs rare and brand new $175 11. Set of four OEM GM '97 Camaro SS rims and very good 275/40ZR17 tires, almost new, with adapters appropriate for wagons. You will not find a better set of these wheels anywhere. Selling for less than the cost of the tires. $450. All prices obo or open to group deals.

| Anyone have a set of stock Caprice 15" wheels with half-decent tires available? Either honeycomb alloys or even just 15" steel wheels are fine. | |

| I have a set of black steel wheels that came stock on my '88 Caprice. The tires were mismatched, treadwear varied amoung the four, and all were cracked/rotted/rotting so they were disposed of properly. I also have the correct lugnuts, center hats, and spoke wheel covers for them. I'd be willing to bet the wrench is there to, if you're interested. | |

| I have 2 steel wheels and a donut spare in the garage. The tires are in decent shape. | |

| You can confirm me for WF. Head count 2.
I'll be happy to bring some kind of salad, if there's a food store nearby.
I will be bring a pair of chrome valve covers ($35)
I need 4 regular steel rims so I can run kool hubcaps on one of my OCC's.
Available for sale or trade: RMW complete front bumper, excellent bumper that was repainted light blue but never installed. Includes all chrome, back bar, shocks ( 1's oily), nuts/bolts, etc. The thin chrome trim on the bumper has had masking tape on it for a VERY long time. Prefer to trade for rims, but $75 otherwise.
Hope to be there late Fri afternoon, any suggestions for nearby live music venues, blues/rock? My friend Jessica is a drummer and she always looks for an opportunity to sit in somewhere when we roam.
My first WF, looking forward to it!
