W.Mass B-Body Meet

I'm hosting a wagon/B-body/D-body meet on the New England board and if anyone here would like to come they're invited too.


When: Sunday Aug 25th
Where: Chicopee State Park 570 Burnett Rd.
Chicopee, MA 01020
Cost: $5 to enter the park. Going to see if I can work out a group rate.

Same plan as was discussed before: hang out there for a bit, shoot the breeze, swap parts? I'll probably bring some coffee and munchkins like at the Roundup. Then cruise to a drive in about 8-10 miles away for lunch/ice cream, etc.

Directions for the park:

From the West:
Head east on I-90 E
Take exit 6 toward Springfield- 0.5 mi
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd 0.2 mi
Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi

From the East:
Head west on I-90 W
Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.3 mi
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi

From the North:
Take I-91 S
Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E
Take exit 6 toward Springfield-0.5 mi
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi

From the South:
Take I-91 N
Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E
Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.5 mi
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi
Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi

Do we know how many people are going I'm looking forward to it since its only a half hour from my house my wife and I are both bringing wagons an 86 caprice estate wagon and a 88 Oldsmobile custom cruiser wagon!!!!!!

Right now its going to be about 5 cars. You're more than welcome to bring two, the more the merrier. Just keep in mind you'll need to pay for two cars to get into the park.

If my wagon weren't apart and up on stands, I'd come to this. The meets are NEVER out this way, so it's neat you set this one up.

You're still more than welcome to show up, B or not. Whatever you bring, it can't be worse than some guy who brings his VW to Badass meets  

Nevermind your VW,looks like someone has a body rolled up in a blanket in the above picture.Just what kind of a B body meet was this?
