| Need brackets for 1989 Buick Estate AC compressor on stock 307 Olds engine. Two brackets were removed sometime in life of car and AC compressor and Air pump move 2" when AC engaged... One brace connects intake manifold to top of main bracket near takeup slot. Second runs from back of same main bracket to stud near exhaust manifold. Local junkyards have no vehicles with this engine! | |

| Look for 86-90 Cadillac Broughams. Tens of thousands made, and can be found in most yards. 307 Olds engine, standard. 90 had optional Chevy 350. I'm sure you know how to tell the difference. | |

| There is an 88 OCC in the local yard for a couple of days yet. If I am quick I may be able to get the brackets (I think I remember seeing them) if it is a 307. What is the SPID code for the 307? I would be making a special trip, and the price will be about $30 shipped. | |

| Fred, I looked at all pillars and did not see any label except for the tire pressure one on driver's door. It is 5 L; 307 Olds engine with rotary A/C compressor mounted over the air pump. I think it was same engine from mid 80's to '90. My GM service manual has all four GM products on cover and it includes details for each where different. My gut feeling it is the same engine in '88. Worth the $30 chance - I'm heading to Key West Saturday for a wedding. Returning to ATL on following Saturday. Maybe we could meet and eliminate shipping. | |

| I am not near Key West. I am just west of Tampa. The $30 price was shipped. I got the parts today. The AC/Air pump bracket is made from thick sheet metal, not cast, if that helps the description. The car will probably be crushed this weekend. The row backing up to it was pulled this morning.
I looked at the pillar too, and did not find a label. I found a label on the fan shroud that stated 5.0 liter. It has a carb on it, and does not look like an LO3/5 | |
