PostSubject: Rear Spring Advice   Rear Spring Advice Icon_minitimeFri Jan 10, 2014 7:30 pm

Ok I want to do something about my sagging rear end.

I like the progressive rate Moog CC623 but do not want to go higher that stock ride height. The CC625 looks better but is not recommended by any parts supplier when you do a search by model. According to the Federal Mogul web site the diameter is the same as the 623 though they are shorter and spring rates are close to the stock rates.

Am I wrong that these will fit and some of you run them?

So question is how do you like the 625's and do you ever tow about 3500lbs?

Thanks in advance for your feedback. Jeff

I have both. I like the CC625 but have not towed with them. I think I have a side-by-side shot of the springs uninstalled. It's almost identical, just slightly shorter. Installed, it will give you back your stock ride height.

A lot of people choose springs based on the specs rather than application. You are correct in thinking that they will fit. They have the same "pocket" size as the 623s.

I know very little about towing. I think some members prefer a linear spring rate for that.

I have a set of 9C1 rear springs if you want them. PM me if interested.
