| Its done all the time,. sem spray bomb,. it needs to be prepped and prepped and prepped till its as clean as an operating table,.wiped down with rubbing acohol prior to any painting,. best thing to rough it up is a medium scotch pad,.. then lightly mist your first coat wait until thats good and tacky then cover a little heavier with the next 3-4 coats,.

| Cletus;
As previously mentioned by others who posted, make sure the foam spokes are super clean! I had to spray into a plastic tray, (like ground meat comes in)with 3" sides, then quickly dabbed small craft brush into paint spray, then onto spokes. Had to go a little thicker to cover porous foam spoke depressions. I re-installed my rubber steering wheel cover, to protect spokes. Then I noticed some new tan paint had chipped off from rub I spose. So I touched up 1, or 2 spots. If you keep your hands on the leather rim, and off, newly sprayed spokes, you'll be ok. Besides I still have 1/2 can of SEM Saddle Tan left. Hope this helps. as always, your mileage may vary. | |
