I've managed to avoid most of them so far, but some of the potholes around here would swallow some of the low profile tires that some have on their 17" rims. I do drive it almost every day.  I was going to put the OE's back on for the winter, but it caught me by surprise and never stopped. Next year. Wife drives the Impala.

Looks nice -- what brand tire is that?

Thanks, they're Firestone Affinity.  My mechanic has a long relationship with that brand.  5k mi. so far, including a trip to Colorado, no problems.  The car does ride somewhat firmer than with the 15" wheels.
