I know. Some cars ride like cr@p and you actually need the remote to turn up the volume or change the station. If you try to touch the actual radio controls while driving...you keep bumping the wrong buttons. I was in a buddy's car the other day and got pissed when I tried to work the radio by hand. Laughed when he handed me a remote...thought of your post.

The truck i,m driving these days has the radio in the overhead console in the center of the cab above the windshield,.,.i keep the remote right next to my seat in the drink holder,.

| for the past week I've been busy with my mom being in the hospital, seems that certain drugs interact with other drugs, that causes other things, that can lead to blood pressure drops and fainting spells. it's not good to faint when standing on a concrete patio, She spent the week in the hospital while they changed all her meds and balanced them. she is home now.
things on the wagon are on hold til I swap the transmission, hardly have any reverse gear left, and it slips baddly in forward gears.

| Glad she's ok.
My mom had the same exact issue memorial weekend. She was in and out of the hospital just like your mom. You would think these Dr that prescribe med's would know what interacts with the other med's they are taking.

| well did the big mod today, got the old tired transmission replaced, got tired of the groaning shuddering slipping, and waitting for reverse to engage. she was done
I swapped in a used transmission I bought from Goldie on the other forum, came out of a 96 impala ss that was in a wreck with low miles.
My wagon now runs out nice, shifts well no shuddering no noises, smooth as glass, and I can back up whenever I want to, no more waitting for the transmission to catch on that it was put in reverse!
my wallet is a lighter now though

| I feel like medication therapy management needs to catch on, Its a process where a Pharmacist reviews the medications that a person is on, including over the counter drugs, and makes sure there is going to be no interactions or ill side effects. I've heard of people going from 12 drugs to 4 with a MASSIVE improvement in the quality of their life. | |

| As a result of the rear axle seal leaks, I had to rebuilt the rear brakes, the drums were in really good shape, diff oil lubricates the brake shoes and protects the drums like nothing else,,, So I cleaned up the drums and tossed them in the oven to dry, then while hot I powder coated them the wagon stops a lot better now! | |

| Aree that grille looks completely factory and 100% Pontiac. Now as for the lettering on wheel caps that says power disc brakes when clearly the neon green drums tells me otherwise tsk-tsk | |
