Hello everyone, I have recently taken ownership of a 1996 RMW with 165k miles on it. Ive been running her about town for a week now so I am beginning to discover the little quirks she has developed over the years, but it is still an awesome vehicle.

Welcome! The little quirks go with the nature of a 20 year old car, but with these cars they are mostly "User serviceable' if you have friends who can give good advice. You have just joined with a bunch of such friends (some of whom actually do have good advice, the rest of us are just tolerable to have around).
For me, chasing the quirks and "Doing It Yourself" is half the fun.
