| Yes, I know production of the B and D continued until December 1996. What I need to know is when the last wagon came off the line. Anyone know when, and what it was?
If you don't know, but have a 96, please run the VIN on the compine tool and let me know what the production date was. | |

Yeah but the vin represents the actual model year. Ex, we have a Cobalt that is an '07 model year, but was made at the end of '06 according to the door tag. | |

| Well, my theory is that the last of the Caprice wagons were actually made in calendar year 95. I've asked everyone I know who has a 96 Cap wagon (not exhaustive I know) to check the door sticker. All of them so far have been built in 95, late in the year. Likely just after the 95 to 96 changeover. | |

| lol, no, not hoping. Going to look at one that the guy CLAIMS is the last one made. Apparently the previous owner has a letter from GM Canada saying that the car is the last Caprice wagon manufactured. Personally, A) I don't believe him, and B) I don't care. Just curious. | |
