coolant over flow tank

anyone have a good way to clean these and get rid of discoloration? or do i just need to realize its old and i have to live with it lol

That is for the LT1 cars not the 1991 TBI car that the person asking the question owns.

Whoops - Sorry about that, poor reading on my part.

There are no new ones, so you are going to have to clean it to the best of your ability.

I wound up soaking it in a container of dilluted bleach for several hours. Didn't do sh!t. I wound up cleaning it the best i could and giving it a light spray coat of off white paint i had laying around and it looks fine. have to pop the cap to check the level, but it was so nasty you pretty much had to do that anyway, so no biggie to me...
