| It's a gorgeous day here today, not hot, not humid, and I figured I'd exercise the 79 Buick a little and came back to work in it after lunch. When I got in it , I noticed it had a little less than a 1//4 tank in it. Ran by the H.E.B. gas station, pulled down the license plate, plugged in the hose, and watched $78 ring up on the pump. OUCH! And it only took just under 21 gallons. This is getting re-goddam-diculous! INSANE! That and the big 403 gets only 10-12mpg....if I keep my foot out of it.... I may take the car to the cruise in tomorrow night and then it'll go back in the carport for a while. Every time I turn the key my wallet gets thinner. Ha!  | |

| $57 to fill the VW and $65 for the Caprice. If this keeps up WF will be out of the question. | |

| I got a personal property tax bill and there were 2 different amounts to be paid!
Pay this amount=
Pay this amount if tank is full or near full of gas=

| Hey Mike, you think $78 is bad? My father just went and filled up the F-250. $4.25/gal for diesel. $125 for the tank. OUCH. | |

| Glad I don't have the conversion van with the dual tanks anymore 37 x 4 = youch!!!
I've been hitting 70 bucks a fill up for the past month at least. good thing I have a company vehicle now... | |

| i just got back from a 8000 mi trip,. premium was $4.48 in some spots,.
21 gals gets expensive ,.
