I like the black roof rack. Might remove it and paint it though, getting a little rough. Maybe another time.

Thanks, got the idea on the Impala forum. I guy has a DCM wagon with OZ's on it that did this.

Believe me if it was a none wood car I would do pearl ghost flames for sure. But I think it would get to busy for a daily driver and would look to much like a POT ROD!!! Thought about a cowl hood as well (I love this look) but not on a Buick according to Mike. Rolling Eyes

I agree the wood and trim would make it to busy.

I think I need to put a cowl hood and flame the Impala. Money better spent in my opinion!!

Love the way you are always improving your wagon.Whether its performance or appearance you
are always enhancing it.Definitely dont go with a cowl induction style hood but maybe a GS look
from the late 60s or early 70s would look great on your non "potrod" baby.

Thanks. But seeing that is already painted by know this is the way I am going. Might put the GM logo back in the Grille and maybe a set of lights behind it.

How detailed does one get. Mike would even be proud of this one although it is not perfect.......

I painted the background car color and spruced up the red then shot with clear. We will see it it holds up. I did not get crazy on the prep.

How do you think she will look in the grille?

They were available in several colors and with many different trim options. Although production numbers were low. I believe the power rear wings were a "dealer" installed option. Is that correct Pat?

Nope, just got lucky. Once in a while GM does it correctly.
