Been chasing down a rattling in the front for awhile now and narrowed it down to the brake pads. It goes away if the brakes are applied lightly. Anybody else have this issue? The pads only have about 6,000 miles on them. They are AC Delco semi-met. from Rock Auto.

Replace the brake hardware. There should be some new anti-rattle clips in the package.

There are tabs on the pads that you bend to fit the caliper body. Bend those tabs so the pads are tight, no more rattle. No need to replace your hardware.
