| I always liked big long woodies. Wish I had one. Wish I remembered what it's like to have one.

| I thought someone had found the pics of the stretch limo wagon (think it was a white caprice). I wished I had saved those pics from about 6 years ago....It was cool.
I would like to see more on this one though as I've never seen this ad before.

| All kidding aside, I thought it was very unusual, pretty cool. BUT has funeral car written all over it. Would love to see one in person. | |

| It is pretty neat but at the same time, it seems like an awful lot of labor and money to gain just a few inches. Your talking modifying the frame, driveshaft, floor pan, doors, door panels, door glass, door trim, wood on door (which must match the rest), weatherstripping, carpet, headliner, roof panel and whatever other interior mods were done. Yikes! | |

| It is a true station wagon now! It has the back seat area that ours fail to deliver. Just imagine road tripping in a roomy wagon like this as a kid! | |

| I wonder how many of those wagons were actually modified (maybe that one?). It's a dual edged sword - the modified car would not fit in 90% of American garages, BUT you would actually have a useful 2nd row compared to the Mustang-esque seat they had from the factory.
All powered by the mighty 305...

A few inches?Looks like about a 20 inch increase which is huge but really kinda useless when it comes time to park it! |

| Looks like the rear window was handled by using the factory window glass, and adding another fixed piece of glass in front of it. Pretty incredible. | |

| What do you suppose the actual purpose of the car is? Does that looong rear door hide another row of seats, ala a stretch limo? If so, lets be real; how many people (outside of this group) would find it really cool to be picked up from a private jet in a woody wagon vs. a stretch Caddy? | |

| I can say that Fleetwoods have excellent legroom, I spent a lot of time in the backseat of a Fleetwood because my grandparents had 3 of them (93 LDM, tan interior, 95 Brougham triple black I hope my cousin still has, and a 96 Jadestone with aftermarket mocktop). My grandparents had to take me to my doctor's which was a half hour drive, due to the muscle spasms I would have before that last surgery (I was in a nasty car accident, and I was on a bicycle when I was 15) I had a few sitting in the back of the '96 and honestly it was the best car to have them in. These limo wagons have even more. | |
