| So I believe my imploded today. Anyone have a substitute they use instead.
AND HOW DO YOU GET THE BLASTED KNOB OFF THE FRONT!! I pushed the top of the switch 50000 times and still cannot pull the knob out! What the trick??

| The trick is that you have to push 50001 times. Push the headlight knob in, then push the button on the top, and pull the knob. You may have to push the switch toward the knob to get the knob in all of the way.
You may still be able to get one of the nuts from the dealer. The last time I heard, they were still available new for about $12. If you can not find one, I have a couple for $10 each shipped. PN 20146807

Well many closer to 20 times. A little exaggeration.

| Yeah you're right, 20 X exaggeration (aggravation) = 50,000. I did the math. | |

| Good call Nick. Picked two from an yard in Upstate NY today. One for me, one for 200OZ. Not a simple nut it has a Teflon liner to take the wear. I put a fender washer under it to better distribute the load as the original nut has a large plastic washer. | |

| Guys... just stumbled over this old post. Guess what I just had made for my RMW in aluminum. Perfect fit, and will last forever. | |
