I was just looking through this thread again:

https://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t4768-insalling-a-95-96-double-din-radio-in-your-94-din-and-a-half-roadmaster

and it looks to me like the 95/96 Dash radio opening is slightly narrower than the 94 opening.

Can anybody with a 95 or 96 Roadmaster measure the width (and height if you can) of the radio opening?

I am working on installing the new double DIN radio, and couldn't figure out why the opening is so much wider than my new radio. But after looking at those two photos I think I know why.

I think the real solution is to find a good tan dashboard face to swap in. But for now I'm still planning on cutting the top and bottom to fit, but it's probably going to look goofy if the sides are too wide.

So far it looks like I have the depth I need.

Thanks!
