Hey guys,
I noticed something hanging down under the engine today. I thought it was a stick I must have driven over. But it turns out to be a loose hose. It's about 5/16" OD, thick walled, and the end is cut on a bias. The loose end hangs by the lower left bolt on the flywheel cover. I can trace it up and back thru a clip on the top of the trans, loops in a U over the tailshaft, then goes forward the another clip on the right side of the trans and then towards the top of the trans out of sight.
My guess is it's a drain hose attached to the vent at the top of the transmission. Funny that I've never noticed it before. What is it?
Seems odd that it's just banging around loose on the bottom also.
