The tube seal on my trans is shot and leaks like crazy. I got the seal, but I can't figure out how to get the tube out. There's the one bolt on the back of the head, but with it out I just can't get it to move enough to disengage. Is there something else holding this thing in?

Might be getting pinched by the firewall.  When I had mine out /in the rubber seal at the bottom was hardened. It did not come free easily. Put a locking pliers on it and start wiggling. DON'T CRUSH THE PIPE!

Once free of the hole, take it out downward not upward.

Dave

Dave, maybe going down is what I'm doing wrong. I'll give it a go next time I'm under there. Thanks!
