| They don't fit,.. the spokes hit the calipers ,. The calipers are fixed 4 piston c3 units with the bigger rotor,. I was wanting to put them on the blue car, as i put the impy rims and buick centers on the orange car,.. they fit over the rear discs ok,.. doh,.. | |

| Based on my experience, I'd say that was about par for the fixed caliper course.
I've have to run spacers on all four corners to get the B. Coddingtons on, About 1-1/4" is needed in front and something like 7/16" in the rear.
The Coys would have needed even more spacer than that.
To get the wide lip look, the spokes curl back a lot more than one might expect and thus run right into the calipers.
The current BBS wheels would also be a no-go if it wasn't for the adapters pushing them out just over an inch.
Add in the skirted wheel openings and a body not precisely centered on the frame and it has one reaching for the Excedrin.
When all is said and done, the 17" Impala wheels still fit better than any of the 18's I've tried.
The next rendition will hopefully reverse this trend by starting with a set of wheels from the same car as the calipers came from.
Regardless, the blue car does look pretty bitchin' with Ridler's on there.

Thanks jay,. The impy rims are much heavier than the ridlers,. I think it will need 1" spacers for sure,. I got the bright idea to look at forgelines with their variable combinations,.. Then i looked at the price list,. | |

| I like the SS rims on the Orange Wagon...the Blue Wagon looks great with the SS rims as well as the Ridlers...to bad about the fitment issues. | |
