| Hiya, all, I just bought Bert Slater's 94 RMW. She's my first Roadie/Caprice. Been a wagon nut dating back to my first, a 2001 BMW 525iT with a five speed manual. Was into Lincoln Mark VIII's for a long time too, until mine went to the great scrapyard in the sky.
Not sure on the name yet, thinking Hilda cause shes a big curvy girl like Hilda the illustrated pinup girl from the fifties and sixties. She's in need of a little TLC, but what 20+ year old car isnt?
Right off the bat, she needs an AC overhaul and her mufflers are bad. Thinking straight pipes like I had on my Mark. With the slightly detuned Cobra motor they came with, straight pipes had a sweet burble and a shrieking roar at high RPM.
Anyone have any recommendations for an AC shop and an exhaust place that will do some ::ahem:: "custom" work in the area? - Attachments

Already mining it for nuggets of wisdom. Searching "Orlando" didnt turn up anything relevant, so I'm hoping to find a Florida wagon nut with shop recommendations local to me.

Bit of a haul from the NE side of Orlando. I know the area very well since my wife grew up in the Town & Country area close to Waters, but gonna be a bit before we can make it over, and the old cans are too shot to let them ride that long. Thanks for the recommendation tho!

| HI MG and welcome. In Orlando there is a THRIVING B-body scene. Majority of the guys have sedans but one of them John Stannard (spelling?) has an awesome wagon. He owns Big Johns Customs in Leesburg. He does ALOT of work on our cars and is a great guy.
Dunno what part of O'town you are in, but if on Facebook, join the Orlando Inc Chapter, they are a good group of guys (even if alot of them like big rims, lol).
Last year at our Wagonfest FL, they showed up in force in Daytona for our after show BBQ/get together.
