Hello everyone, I am now the proud owner of a 96 Caprice wagon. I've had it for about a month. I bought it from an old lady who couldn't drive anymore and is in the nursing home. She had owned it since 98. The daughter was selling it for her, I literally had to go to the nursing home to get the title signed over. Her husband kept all of the receipts since they bought it, and I mean literally everything done to the car has been documented. Also mileage was wrote down at every fill up and trips it was on. It only had  103,000 original miles on it too. I gave $1800 cash for it, which I thought was a pretty good price. It has the usual rust being an Iowa car, and a few dings from stuff she had hit. I fixed the passenger side wheel well and lower quarter. I hate having to drive it in the winter here but its my only choice. Glad to see a little community here of other wagon fans and I look forward to being apart of it.

Good price if the rust is not bad. Lots of terrific info on this forum.

Welcome to the pod!
