| Well, that underhood shot took me by surprise.
Look at all those wires though, my goodness! That looks like a lot of work to sort those out.

| Nah, it wasn't too bad at all. I DID lengthen all of the wires to be able to route them behind the engine and along the inner fender. I need to cover it up with loom so it looks better now. | |

| It is stock for now. I was thinking of a cam swap this spring. I just wanted to get the stock engine in and running to make sure I had everything right. THEN I can start changing stuff. | |

| Very cool sleeper. Nice job and welcome.
Did you have access to a complete parts truck for the drivetrain swap or did you piece things together? Factory PCM?

| I bought a pullout from an H2 off ebay. It had the ecm, drive by wire gas pedal and module, and got a 2004 truck transmission. I used HPTuners to turn off most of the un needed stuff in the computer. | |

| Sticker says it is 2.93s, but when I punch that in HPTuners, it doesn't match my phone gps.
I want to go with 3.42 or MAYBE 3.73s.

| How did you integrate the hydroboost with the new powertrain? | |

| The donor Hummer had hydroboost, so the pump reservoir had the extra return fitting. I swapped my vacuum booster with a 4500 Chevy hydroboost unit and an Astro mounting plate. I THINK I used all of the 4500 lines, and found a 9C1 cooler loop at the junkyard. | |

| Does the Hummer come stock with hydroboost or is the engine modified.I always thought hudroboost was for engines with cams making very little vacumm. |

| It was factory with hydroboost. I had a 1ton 2000 Chevy dually with hyrdoboost on a 350 Vortec. | |
