| Subject: Steering box not mounted correctly? Mon 21 Mar 2016 - 9:30 | |
| Howdy all- Just picked up a 96 RMW this weekend, and while going over it yesterday, I noticed that the car has a reman steering box on it. Looking more closely, I saw that there is a bracket above the box which looks like the box should be bolted to, but it isn't. My factory manuals haven't arrived yet, so can someone tell me if the box should have been bolted to the bracket? Thanks! | |

| The OEM boxes came with the stud. It is more of a nuisance than of any value. It makes installing the box much more difficult. The bracket holds the antilock servo. | |
