Subject: 2003 Silverado radio in my 91 Caprice Tue Apr 05, 2016 11:25 am
I have a am-fm cd player from a 2003 Silverado. It fits the hole in the dash where the original radio was in my 91 Caprice. I do not have the connector to plug into the "new" radio, but I am sure I can get one. Any problems I might encounter? Anybody used a similar radio ? Thanks.

Did you actually get to fit? I had one out of a same body style Silverado, was going to put it in my 95 Caprice but the mounts are completely different

From what I've seen/heard (at least with Roadmasters) the "1.5 DIN" radio ran 91-94 and the true double DIN started in 95 and 96.
