So I have a bravada console & shifter for my 92 occ.today I scored a 96 ss console missing the shifter but I have a shifter that will work in it. Why is the bravada swap so popular? Is it because the ss deal is hard to find or does it look like crap in a wagon? Not sure which way to go now any input would be helpful thanks

SS consoles normally cost more.

Personally I think the Bravada console looks nicer.

Bravada gives you the sometimes useful cup holders.

Most of the Bravada consoles have wood that matches the dash wood on the Roadmasters, which is one of the reasons folks like them so much in the Buicks. It looks nearly factory correct once installed.

As RedandBlack, Andabe, and 81X11 already said.... Price/availability, cup holders, more storage, and the matching wood grain that's on the dash. I'll add that they feel nicer too.
