So I've had these shocks laying around my shop for almost 3 years so I decided to install them. Well one of them squeaks, and you literally can hear ever bump in the road. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Had some Koni's like that once, sprayed the bejesus out of them with WD40 short lived fix. Neutral Replaced the near by spring seats, quieted down considerably. I guess my point is,its like an orchestra down there, lots of moving pieces adding to the sound.

It went away for a little while the other day and I was like awesome, that was short lived.

Did you clean the shafts off before you installed them? I would guess there would be a lot of stuff on there if they were sitting uncompressed in your shop. I've never had a squeaky one before though.

Last night I took it apart again and I flipped the one rubber that has the sleeve on it. So maybe the shaft was rubbing against the frame.
