ok, so i found both knock sensors, both are getting 2.39 and 2.40 at the plug. Whats the factory call for?

The knock sensors are actually little microphones. Unless it is zero or full battery voltage, the DC reading is of little value.

The best way to check the sensor itself is to use a timing light. Rap on the block next to the sensor (NOT on the sensor) with a small hammer etc., and the timing should retard.
