| well im finally getting to my 92 occ, after driving it for 6 yrs in the nice weather only im going to start my engine & trans swap.since ive had the car I added big hitch to it,converted the alc to air bags with manual override & inflator kit provisions ,21mm vic rear sway bar ,metco lwr arms & fixed the roof leaks.i rebilt a77 olds 403 for it & a 4l80e. the 403 will remain tbi injected & I even adapted the sbc serp system to the front of it, the 96 trans crossmember was slightly modified to fit the big trans.i bought a street trends ram air hood for it (the one that mimics the 70-72 olds ram air hood) & have 96 style mirrors to put on.i have 87 olds touring sedan seats to put in along with the console & horseshoe style shifter from same touring sedan , im working on making the touring sedan rear seat work on the wagon seat frame so it still folds. I ahave also made the rear vent windows power operated with a switch in the rear for 3rd row occupant operation or I can run them from the front with the switch in the center of the dash.i modified a rear wiper / hatch switch to do the vents,it looks factory. I also have 9c1 oil 7 trans coolers for it.wheels will be the factory aluminuns polished or the very rare olds ss2 rallyes that were put on delta 88s with the 5x5 pattern , im still undecided at this point.i will post pics when I figure out how to do it (not very computer savvy) thanks for reading rick | |

| Can you get the distributor under the cowl? That looks like a very tall distributor. If you ever have to remove it, you will have to remove the intake manifold to get it out. Are you using the original bracket for the throttle/CC/trans linkage? | |

| The throttle bracket is a slightly modified original,I even made a one off stat housing for it so I can use stock upper hose.dist has plenty of room to remove, olds distributors do not go into intake like a chev.i will try to post pics tonight of bracket, housing, dist&elc mods.im starting to get busy with racing season starting soon | |

| Very interesting build. That shifter / center console set up looks like it was born there. | |

| I use a gm ecm for 93 chev/gmc pick ups.hack the tune wth tuner pro.doing a 4l80 swap into a 496 Pontiac powered 67 firebird, going to use a mega squirt controller on it since the car already has a ms3 pro running the injection.front brake set up is that deal using astro rotors. thank you on the console comment,i really like how it turned out.looks better than the console I was going to use(shown in some of the first pics) | |
