| Hi guys, Rainwater is leaking in at the 2nd row doors on my RMW. The door seals aren't fitting snugly into the top corners of the door anymore. I want to splice in a 2" section of door seal at the bottom, where the ends touch, to force the (shrunken) seal back into place. Are there any other vehicles that share the same seal profile? I'm going to try pulling seal off a donor car, but the wreckers around me don't have any b bodies.
Thanks | |

| Jack, do you need the seals for both doors? I may have them, I will have to check. I am in the US, but I know there are some part hoarders in Canada (I won't embarrass them just yet).
It might be a good idea to post a more specific location in your signature.

| Update: I pulled up the seal & reattached it so that it no longer sags in the upper corners. This left a gap of about 1.5 between the ends. I took a bucket of water & poured it over the gap at the top of the closed door. Opened the door, still water getting in | |

| If you can find a thin round piece of polypropylene foam insulation, sometimes you can feed it through the hole in the trim to give it more firmness. It is easiest to fish a line through, and then attach it to the foam to pull it through. Other than that, you need to replace the whole piece.
Make sure the upper seal along the roofline is over the lower one around the door. If the upper one is tucked behind the lower, it will cause a leak. | |
