| Hi guys, I want to change out my 2.93 ring & pinion for a 3.73. Does anyone know for certain if a reluctor from a L05 Fleetwood will work in my 95?
Thanks | |

| The FW has a different ABS system. It does not have a reluctor on the pinion shaft. | |

| Ahhhh. Well, there you have it. Gotta go with the above.
That's interesting. I knew it was different but didn't know that.

| I'm not sure if this is the correct forum/topic for this, but I'll ask anyway. I've got the stock 2.93 rear in my RMW & I want to upgrade to a 3.73 or numerically higher ratio. The only new reluctor I can find is made by Yukon Gear for a 3.73. Does anyone know where to find reluctor for 4.10? Is it possible to keep factory reluctor reprogram the ABS module? | |

Bob Shirley over on ISSF no I would advise against 4.10s and go with 3.73 if you use the car as a DD. Also, keep in mind a portion of people who swap to 3.73 (or higher) wind up with driveshaft vibration. I haven't had any on both swaps, luckily. Also keep in mind some gearsets aren't made to accept reluctors. Bob Shirley makes reluctors for those too. when you do gears, it's a good time to do the posi since the labour is the same. I like the Eaton truetrac more than the clutch-type on a daily driver.

| ^ All of that.
TruTrac is worth its price. It's about $400-450 depending on where you find it for sale. You, especially, with everything else you've done with your car, will enjoy it.
