twilight sentinel stopped working 1995 Roadmaster

My twilight sentinel has stopped working. changed the sentinel thumb switch on the dash, the headlight switch, to no avail. It sounds like could be the photo cell in the center of the dashpad? Has anyone changed one of these. I have to find one in a junk yard, as part number 10067986 , shows no longer available on line.

Your help would be appreciated. Its a slight pain to have to pull out the headlight switch to make the dash lights work, etc.

It's been a while, but I remember a similar problem. Ended up replacing the "chime box" in the passenger side kick panel. Not 100% sure, but I believe that was the solution.

The white box behind the PS kick panel is the TS controller. They are noted to have some bad solder joints. Pull it, and check for cold solder joints and ones that are not making contact. Cold solder joints look dull vs. good ones are shiny.

I followed that thread to fix mine. Worked like a charm!
mine worked but no dash lights. there was a cracked solder joint in there. I redid them all while in there. took very little time.

To chime in, had the same issue on my '96 Roady Wagon in 2011, and it was a very easy fix, and still working fine all these years later!

Mine stays on all the time...but my windshield is tinted to 38%...Hahaha
