Offset and backspace are related, but not the same. Backspace is the distance from the rear flange to the mounting surface. Offset is the distance from the centerline to the mounting surface. The offset of a B-body wheel is 6mm.

To find the offset, measure the flange to the mounting surface from both the inside and outside flange to the mounting surface. If the rear is more than the front, you have a positive offset of the difference. 6mm is about 1/4 inch.

Jeep 5x5 wheels will require an adapter/spacer about 2 inches thick. I wouldn't run them with that much.

I'm currently running wheels with a 1.75" spacer and it's so far running fine (only 5 or 6K on them so far).

I'm running pretty nice spacers though. Hubcentric, correct size lugs matching from hub to wheel, etc etc.

Not ebay specials.

Good luck!

Spacers are different than adapters (even if the bolt circle is the same).

Right you are! Gotta be careful with that. 2" spacers with 3" lug bolts would be a bit much!

I meant adapters! Laughing
