Goose Watch Winery Car Show, Romulus NY, Saturday July 21st

Wagonfest NY is the following weekend, but for the local Newyawkers who need something to do on the weekend before, there is a car show at Goose Watch Winery.  It's in the town of Romulus on Seneca Lake, about 20 minutes south of Geneva on St. Route 414.  Beautiful location.  Food, live music, wine, family friendly place run by some great people (Peterson family)  See:  https://goosewatch.com/events/classic-car-show/

Admission is free, but if you want to show your car there is a $10 fee if you pay beforehand, and a $15 fee if you just show up on the day of the show (form attached below, and also downloadable from the URL above).

I'll be there unless there is a downpour lasting the entire day.  Any others interested?

Just got back from the show at Goose Watch Winery.  It was the same day as the Syracuse Nationals, so the crowd was a little lighter than usual.  Beautiful setting above Cayuga Lake in Romulus.  Good food, great wine, and some unobtrusive folk music.  Lots of cars you just don't see everyday, and very friendly owners who wanted to talk about their cars and learn about yours.

Not a replacement for Wagonfest, but a great day on the Lake and if you live in the area a good reason to clean up your car a week early.

So did everyone else: it won "Best in Show".

The green sedan parked next to my wagon was a Packard... I think a 1950.
