Project writeups

A little free time around Christmas allowed me to finally finish write ups on some of the wagon projects I've been working on. I also put posts under the appropriate forum categories, but here are all of them for anyone interested (or so bored you will read anything).

The Stereo Install project is the big one. It's a pretty long writeup, but may be of use to anyone considering a full audio upgrade in his wagon:

While taking the dash apart for the stereo, I found I needed to replace the foam in the vent openings:

I also wanted to install a manual switch on my power antenna while installing the stereo. You wouldn't have to install a stereo to do it, but the hard part of it had to be done for the stereo anyway so it was a natural to do at that time:

Finally, I swapped my automatic rearview mirror for a manual one. This should be super simple, but of course GM uses a different connector:
