It would sure be nice if the driver side one went up the side by the kick panel like the passenger side one does. That is exactly where my carpet is worn through!

I think that I can scoot them up a bit which will help and put a piece of carpet under it. Since they are custom perhaps you could ask them to fill in the gap...it would probably be easier.

@rjathon -- a few questions. First, did you get the matching car-wide (over-the-hum) mat for the rear and/or a mat for the trunk? Second, a couple of years later, how have the mats held up? Has the lack of coverage up the side by the kick panel been an issue?

I got the over the hump in the rear and none for the back. The mats are very high quality and have held up well. The imperfect coverage on the side is no big deal. Overall I am very happy with the mats.
