| That is the plan pat. It is the reason I bought them last year, had them shipped to Mikes and drov it across the border. There is so darn much chrome on the Buick they kind of grew on me sitting in the garage. But after driving it i didn't like the looks I was getting as I don't feel racey when driving it. I think the gran sport badging will be coming off as well. Sorry Mike. If I don't like the origionals,my father in law has the chrome rallys from his two 76 estate wagon that I will try. | |

| What are you doing with those wheels that are currently on the Caprice then? I love those. Too bad I could never afford them. |

| Thanks Mike. I experienced the infamous Buick molding falling off on the passengers door and so I took advantage of a warm day to redo the 3m. It wasn't that hard to get all the glue off either. I never even titled the Caprice this year and just needed to clean the two cars up and do some soul searching. Frank called me as well last weeek and discussed me buying his car. Marge and I had a long talk about selling both mine just having the one. Most here will remember me always saying I Like the Chevys customized and the Buicks should be left origional. I guess after yesterday I feel that is the way I will go, which was my plan when I got the car from GN1220. I have the t56,Bonnies,z cluster so this winter I hope to get them in. I am still on the hunt for headers. This car inspired me from the very beginning (even though it is a Buick) and my friend here says he can do a wrap that will look exactly like it. I have my other Tailgate to shave as well I will do the opposite to this scheme witth the Bonnies done the same. Stingroo,I will not have a purpose for the wheels and you can have first offer. | |

| Frank's car is ugly. He even has a trophy to prove it. Also, if you already have a black WB4 that's exactly like Frank's - why on earth would you sell it to buy Frank's? Keep them both dude. You've put YEARS of blood, sweat, tears, and dollars into the caprice - and you've already designated the buick for an entirely different purpose. If you try to have ONE car be both custom enough to be a bitchin show car and lame enough to work funeral duty - it'll fail miserably at both and you'll be VERY unhappy with an otherwise gorgeous car. It's like you have a snow shovel and a garden shovel. Both are technically the same tool, but neither can effectively do the job of the other - and no ONE shovel would ever be able to replace them both. | |

| Hahaha,he is still upset at you and Crovo for that John. I hope he isn't too upset at me for letting you all know he is thinking about selling it.
The truth is I have wayyyy too much in my 95 now,and I will never get it back,so I may as well keep going and have it like I want it.
I also think, like Mike said in another post, the origional, unmolested, low mile wagons are becoming harder to find and currently have the higher resale. It will be very interesting to see what Frank can get for his.
So the bottom line is,Frank wants big money for his,and it definitely would cost that much if anyone was to do it, but I can keep both mine for less money. You are rite John, are you by chance Marges Brother?
You guys are great for keeping the passion I have for these cars alive. I appreciate all the compliments and really want to do WF in 2011 to share some stories and meet the new guys here. Lorne.

| Back the truck up there, boss. That deal was all Crovo's doing.
I know we all love Frank and think the world of the work he's put in to his car - but I can't see how in this lifetime that his - or any other buick wagon is nicer than yours PLUS your chevy PLUS some more. Not that I have a clue about how to price out "perfection" - but if I were him I'd start by making a few phone calls and googles to see who runs a Buick collection of cars for GM.

| Thanks John. I certainly don't put either of my wagons in Frank's category. His car is simply incredible in all aspects. Looks ,sound, wheels, underneath, interior, suspension and finally performance. I have never seen Bob Borcher's in person but I would guess his is the other Black wagon that is in that league. When Frank and I talked I was thinking I would be killing two birds with one stone. His has the performance that I am looking for,and as you say visually It is hard to tell the Buicks apart. I drove his and the high stall would not be enjoyable for a Funeral procession, so I was thinking the t56 would solve that as he already has the gears along with the aluminum drive shaft. It all boils down to the look. I love the Impala SS and have since I first saw them. When I couldn't afford one I did the Funeral Home wagon as the next best thing. The 1a2 purchase was a fluke and until I joined you guys I had no idea what it was. I simply wanted the engine. I bought the SS from Nick to clone the Barrett Jackson GM 6 speed. Thats also why I removed the Tint. My son begged me not to part it out and so I bought the Bonnieville seats to go the keep Marge comfortable route. I am all mesed up I guess as to which way to go with the 95. I love car shows, and thats why I want the nomad look. You all have to remember I have driven this wagon since new in 91. It was the car we drove as we raised the kids. You kind of get sick of the solid Black look and the Funeral comments after so long. When I open the Garage I see Impala SS with my 95 wagon, especially with the Roof shaved. I just don't get that with the Buicks. Like you said, two very similar cars but completely different roles,I am lucky to have both. Thanks, this has been helpful. Last week I hardly slept. Yup after rereading this,it's official,I have no idea what I want. Lorne. | |

| Man I love that Buick with those wheels, emblems, it's just gorgeous. About the only think I'd do is take the tall roof rack rail off. To each his own though. Awesome cars! Thanks for posting pics.

| Wow... I didn't even see that bus coming... Lorne, I have no idea what to tell you... Do the dead guys care what they ride in? Are you getting lots of "man, I wish you still had a roadmaster hearse" comments? If not, I'd sure as Hell do my best to try and keep that nice, low mile WB4 out of the procession and out on the road! But that's just me. | |

| Hahahaha no Bill, they don't really care about any of my cars. 70-80 year olds, just like leaning on them really. I knew the roadmaster was not as responsive when I was merging driving it home, but thats all gear. It is as smooth as any car I own, quieter than any of them but without the floor shift it just feels like the hearse or limo. My wifes car has the floor shifter like your caddy Crovo and I guess thats the feel I llike when I am away from work. The Buick is like everyone telling you your Mom is hot, It's just wrong,it is an origional unmolested Buick,I feel I have to restore that image. Ps,all you young guns here enjoy these years, this mid life crisis is for the birds. On that note,I spent my 25th anniversary with Marge in a great spot over the weekend. I watched Barrett Jackson while she read Nick, which one is better, viagra or cialis? You can PM me if you would rather not say hahahahaha | |

| I guess it's true what they say... "opposites attract". My wife drives her FWD V-6 cars, and I drive my RWD V-8's. She hates mine and I hate hers...... Two weeks will be my 23rd anniversary...... | |

| Congrats to all you married wagon kooks as well. I mised all this while looking over the Cliff. Pat where did you get that pic? Is it from the net or an actual Funeral in your area? I use this for hauling my brush ,that one above reminded me of it. | |

| My Dad wants an antique Ford tractor. Whenever we're in the country he's always on "the lookout". I tell him he's showing his inner Arkansas....especially considering he lives in the suburbs and has a postage stamp yard. ; ) | |
