| I thought after 91 all the wagons got 350's? Was that just the Buick and Olds? | |

| Buick got the 350 standard starting in 92 but it was still optional in the Olds and Chevy's. | |

| Hey Cadet57, meant to tell you I like that Jetta. Those are really fun. My brother had a super clean 98 Jetta VR6 until last spring....when sadly he totaled it. It would fly. We test drove newer Jettas after the accident and the 1.8T's were fun to drive. When the turbo spooled up, hang on! Sadly we couldn't find a clean VW and I came into a '01 Nissan Pathfinder which went to him. I liked the "Dub a lot more. ; )
Stay safe!

Thanks! I love my VW, both it and my wagon are my pride and joys. If I only had enough money to lavish them both . I knew it was the car for me when on the test drive I was coming out of second and the car laid rubber . It has been a great car, 106,000 miles and still trucking. I plan to keep it til it wont run no more. my goal is 200k. Would buy another VW in a heartbeat.

Thanks again. Not so funny story how it ended up on my car. One winter at work, someone backed into my car and kindly forgot to leave a note so I was stuck with a smashed in grill. The OEM replacement was about $120. Not really feeling that I hit up ebay where I found that badgeless mesh grill for $29.99. It was black, prepped for paint. Installed it and loved it, then this past May someone rear ended my car, when they had it in for paint, I asked the body shop how much it would cost to spray the grill to match, the manager being my fathers buddy did it for free as they had plenty of extra paint. Then I threw on the European 1.8T badges on the front and rear, heres a before and after: Before: After:

Thanks. I think it makes the car look more aggressive. Plus, I like to give the ricers something to read just before I blow past them in all of my 1.8 liter, 180hp glory

Haha dam right. I did that this weekend coming home from Boston. Some kid in a Celica pulled up next to me, looked at the wagon, laughed and revved his engine. Green light goes down, I dump the wagon, leaving a HUGE cloud of tire smoke and him stalled at the light.
