On a stock 1994-1996, the pipe from the muffler to the resonator is 2". Here's how I went from a larger aftermarket muffler to a stock resonator. I didn't have to pay shipping when I got the reducers at O'Reilly. I also returned the unneeded size parts without paying a restock fee.

It is 2 1/2'' before the resinator.. so i got this 3'' pipe bended up.. went to dry fit it.. its stickin out about 4 inches past the rear bumper.. and i told this guy i need the bend AT 3'.. so he bends it 5'' past 3'.. so now i gotta take it back to this shop that probaly does not have a 3'' I.D coupling and wait even more to put this pipe on.. AAAHHHH some people dont kno how to follow directions.. ill put up some pics when i get it all sqwared out..
