| Do any of you guys have mud flaps installed behind the rear tires on your wagons? I'm not sure what kind of flaps would work back there, or how to mount them. If anyone has any pics or suggestions, please let me know. I'm just looking for something to save the leading edge of the rear quarters and keep the dirt down and out from the inside lip of the rear quarter. Thanks. | |

| I have the same flaps, except bowties. I took them off behind the front wheels when I bought it, but I think I will put them back on. Most will recognize these ones, too: | |

Jim Sorta. A buddy of mine is going to hardwire it into the car. He did two previously so gonna go to his house and two hours later, I'll have a 9C1 cluster. That is if I can get the damn thing running.

| How are you guys mounting them, and are they a different shape flap? Seems like there is nothing to secure the flaps to..... thanks again and awesome pics! | |

| I just used self tapping screws into the lip and used a rigid plastic style flap. The thick rubber ones work as well. I think with flaps less is more. I like the protection they give, but do not want them to be to flashy. | |

| I'm kinda afraid of the rigid flaps, because I drive into my hunting land, and its uneven and i'm afraid I'll tear a rigid set off..... Maybe not tho........ | |

| As close as the flap is to the tire, if you rip one odd, you'll dent the quarter panel anyway.....
Mine are also put on with screws mounted to the chrome trim. Mine came with the car when I bought it, but they are GM OEM flaps.

| Somehow this is exactly what I thought you would be running on at least 2 of your wagons John(Sprocket). Jim |

| Are any of those flaps custom fit or are they universal? I'd really like some buick branded flaps or maybe some yosemite sam ones. Source for them? | |

| To be really cool you need the white full width rubber flap that goes just behind the rear bumper with the silver starbursts and reflectors all over it. I think the proper term for it is "Tennessee air brake". To heighten the coolness factor you hang static strips with lightning bolts on them from it, curb feelers on both sides of the car can only intensify the coolness too. | |
