| Hi My Name is Lee and I own two Oldsmobile Vista Cruisers 1970 and 1971. I just bought the 1971 today and original California car with a 5 speed stick shift conversion. Very cool modification. I also got an original ram air hood to ad to the car. Glad to be a member and hope I can contribute to the group.

| Thanks Nick: I think the two carbs may be a bit much for a low compression turnpike cruiser and the w-30s are showroom stock, the 70 a trailer queen. Lee | |

A big olds can handle 1000 cfm no sweat if its jetted right,. rochester quadrabogs are 750-800 depending on the model,. They been here for 20 yrs,. probably be here a little longer,. Nick how about a nice 468 full roller motor?? compression is pretty decent at 11:0,.light pistons,. big cam yada yad,. not the best everyday street cruiser motor tho,. ...just kidding,. | |
