| I saw a retired co-worker (and former box Caprice owner) friend of mine at a party the other day. We got talking about cars as usual and he mentioned his neighbor has a black '84 OCC; former funeral car. I said you gotta send me a pic! He tells me the guy wants to sell it after the winter, and I said find out how much! Looks like the guys done some mild customizations. Satin chrome hub caps and what looks like a metal spoke steering wheel. Also it looks like the roof rack has been removed (roof racks were standard and non deleteable on those, right?). You know, the more I see box wagons, the more I like them. They have a real old-fashioned "big car" look to them. | |

| Cant remember if diesels were still offered in 84.The reason I ask is because of the small tag on the gas fill door. Its sure is the right color for a little custom mods.By the way those caps use to be called "Baby Moons" way back in the day. Jim |

| I really miss my OCC. Loved that car. Gutless, but smooth quiet and reliable as the sun.
As for the decal on the gas door, mine said Unleaded Fuel Only on the wood...before I peeled the wood off. | |

| That's a cool looking wagon.... Beggin' for a BB Olds! I had a white no wood OCC for my first B body wagon, I wanted to drop in a 455 Olds in the worst way.
The racks were standard on all the wagons, but could be ordered with out them.... in the earlier part of the '80's any way. All the boxy wagons had "Unleaded fuel Only" stickers on the gas door, in silver letters with a black outline.

| Yeah, they did offer the diesel through the '85 model year, I'd love to have one despite their infamous reputation. I'm guessing since this was originally purchased for a funeral home, it was probably always gas, and may be a factory non-roof rack car (although if they got busy it'd be nice to be able to put a casket on the roof) Oh, and that's a nice wagon, Mike. Yeah I see a box wagon in my future... Hey! Then i can own THREE generations of B-body! | |

| Sounds like a good idea to me Lionel.Personally I would love to have a few from each generation to drive and play with. Jim |

| Looks good for a Jersey Bomber. Needs new wheels and tires.....wax it up, tint the windows, could be sharp! | |
