| Chris, just email him. If you send him a radio, he only charges 60 bucks to add the input! Of course, once you get it back, open it up and teach us how to do the mod... | |

| I like how he says he can put the jack on the rear. One of my biggest gripes on new vehicles is that they put the jack someplace where you have a wire flapping in the middle of everything.
I have Pioneer decks in my B-bodies and an AUX connector was like $8 shipped off ebay; I ran the wire to the inside of the center console so if I don't have my MP3 player, it stays out of the way. If i want to plug it in, I just open the console, grab the wire, plug it in, turn it on, and go. No wires laying anywhere. | |

| Good points. I use Pioneer decks in my SS and the Caprice wagon. On both, I use the Ipod adapter. In the SS, I have the connector in the console, and it is in the glove box for the wagon. I really like having it out of the way. Of course, the Ipod adapter allows full control of the Ipod right through the head unit, so I don't have to take anything out to sort through songs.

| He used to not do requests. Now he's willing to put it wherever you want for $60+shipping. Which means yes, I am going to send him an AM-FM mono Ford radio for MP3 tunes in my Gran Torino sedan. I'll have him put the plug on the back over by the main connectors. Then I'll run that line to whatever MP3 player I have sitting in the ashtray. For now in the Durango I just use a Griffin iTrip Universal which when I got it was $8 shipped but now they're back up $10 in price because a prettier all black and shiny new version is available for $10 more. It works ok but when on the road I keep having to adjust the station preset because there's so many little tiny radio stations around. 91.1 is good unless I'm up in Dallas and then I have to move down to about 88.3, unless I'm over my Mesquite, and then I have to go way up to about 106.5 or so. | |

| He probably taps off just before or after the volume control in the radio. Should be interesting to find out. | |

| This is something i've wanted for awhile. How does it work when you plug the Aux cable in? I assume there's no button to toggle the Aux mode? I have my XM radio in my car thru a cassette adapter and I don't like the cable mess. If I could get an aux line into the glove box that'd be awesome. | |

| There would have to be a manual switch of some kind unless they have come up with a multi-pole 3.5mm jack that could disconnect both channels upon insertion. | |

| ok so i,m very lacking on audiophile skills,
my kids all have some sort of MP3 little things, and this mod will let them play them into the car's stereo?
cool,..but better to hide the plugin somewhere like was mentioned in the glove box,.? or a small hole drilled into the bottom side of the dash,.? The blue wagon has a remote 12pack cd player, that is run byt the cassette deck head, can it be setup so the cassette deck head runs an MP3 instead of the old skippem cd player?
